Major Changes to the Scottish Technical Standards going live 1st April 2024
The 1st April witnesses some significant legislative changes in Scotland! Amongst them is a major revision to Section 6 (Energy) of the Scottish Technical Standards which basically bans the use of gas, oil and solid fuel boilers for all domestic and non-domestic new construction projects. It also includes some conversion projects. Instead, all heating must delivered from compliant Zero Direct Emission Heating Systems.
