1 Long Lane Southwark

1 Long Lane is an attractive former warehouse building that has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment to provide high quality, contemporary office space over lower ground, ground and five upper floors.

Atelier Ten were appointed on a performance duties basis as MEP building services and lift consultants for the refurbishment of this south London office building.
All existing services were replaced to provide a new CAT A environment ready to accept future incoming tenants. The installations to the office floors were left exposed, which required a high level of co-ordination and quality control.
The works included the provision of two new passenger lifts, and a new dedicated shower/changing/cycle store area.
The project was completed with the top floor tenant remaining on site; this required extensive co-ordination and care to ensure that their services remained in operation throughout.
