The new Business School, for Anglia Polytechnic University, includes a lecture hall and refurbishment of existing adjacent refectory.
The brief for this new school faculty demanded a building of architectural distinction and high environmental ambition that would be a centre for learning, teaching and research in studies related to business and management.
In keeping with Anglia Polytechnic University’s environmental policies, the building includes low-energy solutions where possible, including the use of Termodeck ventilated plank cooling system and double façade walls. The building has achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent Rating.
