The Parc is being developed into a world leading facility which is a modern, flexible and an exciting space dedicated to innovation and manufacturing. The site shall be home to a rich variety of companies, academia and skilled people to address key global challenges.
Redevelopment of the former 32 hectare Michelin Factory in Dundee into an Innovation Parc which focuses on sustainable mobility and low carbon energy.
The site is served via a low carbon district heating steam network utilising waste energy from the neighbouring Waste to Energy Plant. In addition 2no. large scale wind turbines provide renewable electricity as part of a proposed ‘Green Electricity Ring’ which shall also benefit from future photovoltaics with export capabilities. The site shall house a Hydrogen Refuelling Station which will used to provide sustainable fuel to Dundee local public transport network.
Atelier Ten are providing mechanical, electrical, sustainability and fire services within number of areas at Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc (MSIP) focusing on redevelopment of the individual units to suit both Landlord and Tenant requirements as well as reconfiguration and upgrades the wider site infrastructure to future proof the development for the need of future users including the Hydrogen Refuelling Station.
