Princeton University’s new Arts & Transit project encompasses a new arts district and transit infrastructure featuring sustainable landscape design and is targeting Sustainable SITES certification, as a demonstration of their continued commitment to sustainability.
Princeton is transforming approximately twenty-two acres of campus into a sustainable landscaped Arts District with transit buildings including a new New Jersey Transit Dinky station. Atelier Ten provided benchmarking services in pursuit of Sustainable Sites Initiative (SITES) certification, a comprehensive system for developing sustainable landscapes.
The Sustainability Sites Initiative (SITES) rating system will act as a quality assurance tool to confirm the inclusion of critical environmental design measures, and provide the opportunity for additional external recognition and visibility for the project.
