The project involves the creation of 126 new low carbon apartments in Corstophine, Edinburgh area.
Atelier Ten have driven a sustainable agenda that includes new heat pump technology to provide an apartment-by-apartment low carbon heating system without the need for large communal heat networks or external heat pumps or heating plant.
This approach is complimented with embedded electrical generation, 100% electric vehicle car charging facilities and green roof resulting in the development’s response to the all-electric future outlined by the Scottish Government.
As part of the development Atelier Ten have pioneered – in partnership with Artisan Real Estate – the potential for a client branded sustainability charter and performance metric.
