As part of Atelier Ten’s continued work with Clyde Gateway, the office pavilions at Two and Three Rutherglen Links have sustainability set out at the forefront of design, specification and construction as part of the wider Rutherglen Low Carbon Zone masterplan.
The environmental engineering utilises vertical shading recesses, optimised floor depths, natural cross ventilation, exposed thermal mass and natural lighting as passive strategies, to provide an efficient building with healthy spaces to work within.
The focus on low carbon sustainable development is underlined through a BREEAM Excellent accreditation and class leading ‘A’ rated EPC.
