A large Modern warehouse facility incorporating a low energy design specification and a fully integrated building management control system to minimise the carbon footprint.
The development includes a large warehouse facility with flexible low energy services designed by Atelier Ten to align with the clients operational requirements.
A significant aspect of the design included the requirement to provide a fully integrated building management system, which included the BMS, Lighting Controls, fire alarms, CCTV, Intruder, Access control and Energy monitoring systems.
Minimising the Carbon footprint was a key objective of the design team. LED Lighting has been specified throughout with a fully integrated lighting control system to enable daylight linking and absence detection. Automatic Power factor correction has been included and facilities incorporated into the main switchboard to enable the provision of Voltage optimisation post completion. A significant quantity of PV has also been installed to offset the on-site electrical demand.
