Southbank team given the green light

Green Spine, our submission with UN Studio and COX Architecture has won the Southbank by Beulah competition.

Environmental design proposals

Watch this short video of the winning scheme or read more about it here.

Our team’s proposal, known as the “Green Spine”, aspires to reclaim the area and create an active hub. The titular “Green Spine” refers to the towers’ connection to the nearby parks, including the Royal Botanic Gardens.  These green spaces will draw towards the development and then up to the public spaces provided at different levels and on terraces along the twisted facades.

Daylight all the way
The only team to split the site into two towers, the decision has multiple benefits. We provided analysis that shows the split allows better direct sunlight to the podium spaces and better daylight access to internal spaces within the towers.
